The Wine

La Doriane is produced from the five best terroirs of the famous Condrieu appellation and is an extremely intense wine with a complex aroma profile. On the palate, it is round and fleshy with a beautiful freshness that brings harmony. A wine made exclusively in new oak barrels and aged for 12 months. 100% malolactic fermentation.

The Winery

The Guigal estate was founded in 1946 by Etienne Guigal in Ampuis, a small, ancient village in the heart of the Côte-Rôtie appellation. It is dominated by unique vineyards where vines and wine have been celebrated for over 2,400 years. Upon his arrival in 1924 at the age of 14, the founder produced wine for 67 vintages in Côte-Rôtie. Philippe was born in 1975 and today he is the winemaker of the estate. Together with his wife Eve, he represents the third generation and continues the family's lifelong commitment to serving the greatest wines of the Rhone Valley.
